What's new at Fold this June

We spent June sharpening the app you use every day, from a cleaner home screen to a rewards experience that actually shows you where your bitcoin is coming from. Here's what shipped.

A cleaner, clearer home screen

Your home screen got a refresh. Your available balance now shows the exact combined total of your bitcoin and cash, down to the cent, so there's no guessing. We also cleaned up typography, spacing, and button styles across every tab, home, exchange, shop, bitcoin, cash, and credit, so the whole app feels more consistent and easier to scan.

A new look for navigation

Fold's top and bottom navigation now use Apple's glass design style, with a translucent blur effect that feels more at home on iOS. It's a visual update to how you get around the app. Your favorite features are all still exactly where you left them.

A rewards hub that shows the full picture

Tap the rewards pill at the top of the home or exchange screen and you'll land somewhere new: a full rewards hub. See your lifetime rewards, what's available versus pending, and a clear breakdown of every source you're earning from, credit card, debit card, bill pay, gift cards, spins, referrals, and more. No more digging to understand where your rewards are coming from.

Refinements worth mentioning

Made a credit card payment recently? You'll now see a pending indicator on your balance until it fully settles, so you always know where you stand.

The iOS widgets have arrived. Add the credit card spend widget to see your balance, available credit, and weekly spending at a glance, or add the monthly rewards widget to track what you're earning in sats and dollars, right from your home screen. Both come in light, dark, and tinted styles.

What's next

We're building a dedicated notification preferences screen, giving you more control over what notifications you receive from Fold, so you can focus on which ones matter most to you. More to come soon.
