Pay bills with Paypal Bill Pay and earn rewards
The PayPal Stack Hack you know and love still is one of the most popular ways to stack sats! Yes, some mortgage companies and some CC billers have been removed, but some of the largest ones are still active!
Spin+ subscribers get 0.5% back on Fold when you pay the following bills:
- Citi
- Bank Of America
- AMEX
- Discover
- Barclays
- Synchrony (more on this in a minute)
- PennyMac loans
If you’re unfamiliar with the process, add your Fold Card to PayPal as a payment option then navigate to the “Pay Bills” section and search for your biller. (Detailed instructions and screens, here)
Pay bills with your Fold Card and earn rewards
Many credit cards and bills can be paid with a debit card directly or contacting the biller via phone. Typically, these payments are eligible for rewards.
One of the best examples is Synchrony Credit Cards. You may not be familiar with Synchrony, but they are the bank behind many of your favorite “Store” or “Branded” Credit Cards.
- Venmo CC
- Amazon Store Card
- Sam’s Club Card
- Verizon Visa
- PayPal CC
- 100s more!
Just call the number on the back of the card. No, you don’t have to talk to anyone. It’s an automated system that lets you pay by debit card. You can also use your PayPal Bill Pay to pay most of these bills. Just search for “synchrony” in the biller field.
Want to see all the cards under the “Synchrony Umbrella”?
Check out this site for a complete list or their official site here.
Pay bills with your account and routing number (NOW WITH REWARDS!)
We know some of you may have bills that can’t be paid via the Fold Card. That is of course if you aren’t switching providers already. (I just added the Amazon Prime Store Card)
Everyone still has an account and routing number you can find in your app to pay all your remaining bills! So if you need to centralize your bill paying in one place, Fold is the place to do it.
- Get rewards on many of the biggest providers and Store Branded cards
- Pay the bills you can’t get rewards via direct with Fold Card or Paypal Bill Pay via ACH and earn rewards!
What’s to come?
“There’s more?”
Yes, there’s more.
We’ve begun initial discussions with a partner that can help bring bill pay into the app. This means more ways to earn more rewards on even more bills!
Stay tuned and keep stacking, friends!
The PayPal bill pay feature is fully controlled by PayPal and the list of available bills may change at anytime due to Paypal's product.
